Back in the day there was many tour programs for turist deliveries or to “order your new car” visits to the Volkswagen factories in Wolfsburg.
Also dealers been guided in group.
My friend found this picture collection on the internet, there must be many picture albums like this around.
Some pictures are very interesting and do show very interesting production procedures, but we just wanted to give you all pictures so you can scroll and enjoy yourself…
Hayy Sunday!
It’s Friday again. It’s Saturday, Sunday, what?
The first phrase of a song that seems to become a monster summer hit this year.
Maybe something has to do with TikTok as well, for the best moves on TikTok that’s the song!
If you want to see the best moves in spare parts land for your beloved Volkswagen you’re spot on here @ BBT News!
It’s Friday again. It’s Saturday, Sunday, what?
Let’s kick this wonderful BBT NEWS off with something for the T25/T3 Vanagon lovers.
Not so much a love or hate item as well a real necessity.
This rubber sits over your gear shift joint on the side of your transmission.
Protects that part of your shift mechanism for unnecessary wear with too much play and bad shifting as a result.
This is a very sensitive part and is broken or missing on must T25/T3 Vanagons…
Sold each.
1409-610 Boot for shift rod gearbox – Bus 05/79-07/992
From Brazil for Brazil.
This ivory colored steering wheel can be the perfect solution for many people with a Brazilian Kombi up to 1975.
This steering wheel is especially and exclusively for Brazilian Kombi.
This steering wheel will NOT fit German built Kombi’s or buses.
The Brazilian kombi steering column is different, hence the specific steering wheel.
On a German built bus this steering wheel falls way too deep over the shaft where it will seize on your steering column and indicator switch.
Very high quality and very nice finish make this steering wheel standing out of everything.
The best thing you can buy for your Brazilian bus.
Comes complete with horn button too!
Steering wheel for German buildtbuses you can find HERE

Split window beetles have a very specific heater handle to operate the heater system.
This handle operates a cable that either opens or closes the heater flaps to let flow the air heated by your engine rather than not in your passenger compartment.
The last split window using this system was built in September 1952, roughly 70 years ago.
So many of the heater knobs are either broken or missing.
Man can ask himself will the heater knob of your brand new 2021 Golf survive in 70 years? Chances are little.
But chances are even smaller somebody will reproduce the heater knob for your 2021 Golf in the year 2091!
Why? Because the split window beetle was and still is an icon, a modern Golf just a way of transportation.
So we’re proud we can bring this part, between others, back for your split window beetle and make them fit again, for the next 70 years!
Available in Ivory white or glossy black, exact as they came original.
Engrafted with the iconic “H” on top, “H” from “Heizung”, German for heating….
This is a perfect reproduction, exactly as we like it!

First engine lids had a L handle up to 1953 from there they got a T handle to lock it up properly.
The T handle made place for a push button in 1964 for the 1965 model year.
For T and L handles there is this mighty little spring mechanism on the inside of your engine lid, that you can’t leave along playing once you get in your hands.
This mechanism is simple and extremely effective, but many times worn out, bent, or missing on many many cars.
We bring you back a complete brand new locking mechanism at a killer low price in very high quality.
This happened when we pushed the sample in the hands of the owner of a spring mechanism factory, he simply could not leave it alone!
The result is stunning, perfect fit and finish.
Proudly made by and exclusively for BBT.
The T handle itself you can find HERE
The gasket between the handle and the locking mechanism you can find HERE
