In our race to reproduce the rear valence of the 1968-1974 beetle in a decent quality we came around this little stash of NOS ones, made by VW in Mexico in the seventies, this is the only one that really fit on the market at this moment whatever money can buy….

This fits, this is Original Volkswagen, so no questions to ask….

1978….. that’s how old these are, and when they came in stock in the wholesale dept we bought it from….

A little stash, nicely packed… We used some to create a serious reproduction, but that is in research and tooling dept now, will take another 6 to 12 months to complete…

This cutie does need a little metal work, not much and I even think we can get it on the road without, but peace of mind, we just wanted to mention… cab floors, and rockers is what we saw on first sight….

Unmolested dashboard… yammie…

The passenger compartment sports two seats out of a later bus, but perfect use able… and the poles and carton contains a real tent! Due to weather conditions we couldn’t pull up yet, but it does come along… a real period tent… how cool is that?

They don’t appear anymore like they used to do, splittie hunting  become a real profession on its own…:(

We we’re lucky with this one, although with all accessories not really a bargain anymore, but cool for sure!
