BBT Patrick start to prepare our cars for our cruise to Bad Camberg… remember June 18 is BBT Open house, June 19 at 9.00am sharp we do leave for a crazy cruise again to Bad Camberg, mother of all vintage VW shows!
We started with the Blue 1949 split window beetle first, this car was sold brand new (in 1949) in our hometown of Antwerp! what a history…
This car took part in all of our cruises, and proudly carry all tour badges! this year will come an extra to it! Do You want a drivers badge too? You only can EARN this badge by driving in our convoy… all information and registration on http://convoy.bbt4vw.com/
Already to go! see You June 18!
Not too much, just about right, that’s this 1958 panel van all about, and yes this super cool panel is for sale!
Big spacy loading compartment… and yes this is a much sought after walk through, Your wet dream to make a real cozy camper comes through!
Engine is cool running, car drives and handles well, but as always we do recommend a service before take public roads, for your safety, for your security, and to protect your investment, guess with this van it will be really moderate cost, we can offer this service here @ BBT at cost….
Loading floor in cargo area is very cool and straight… nice, …
Controls are “under the driver seat” for a walk through, this one still has it’s all original set up…
Cab seats are marvelous, the cabin is so cool and good-looking, as said, not over the edge, but just your perfect patina looker!
Look at the dash, the steering wheel and imagine the guy that used to drive this for his daily work in the late fifties, oh my God, where’s the time gone,???
Cab floors been replaced, as are some other metal parts already, so the car is pretty solid now, two items still need replacement is the right side inner rocker and the lower inner front valence, another thing we can do for you here at BBT at cost, or You can save the money and make these repairs yourselves….
The front valence had repairs below, but under the Front windshields this bus is close to perfect, very weird!
another view of that spacy cargo area, what you gonna do with it? small deliveries for your growing company “in style”? make it a strictly publicity van? or make it a cozy camper and visit some Vw shows and music festivals?
Let me guide You, I would do all at once! and a publicity van, and a delivery van and a camper van, something only a panel van can provide You!
How you like it? I think this is a killer babe!
License plate frame really gives You the real good taste…. Holiday baby!
Wowh! That’s what it really says to me… a real killer patina panel van ready for everything! Don’t miss out on this one,
Don’t delay, call Bob today! For all further information send an email to bob@BBT4vw.com
Last sunday a BBT delegation drove to nearby Wuustwezel and attended a general old-timer meeting… weather was very rough with wind and rain, but with a lot of vintage car soul mates its always fun to hang out.
BBT was there “Full Force”
Also many other VW’s like this cool patina panelvan on full air suspension…
Ex BBT PreA from friend of Da house Pascal…
VW 411 from long time BBT fan Luc. This guy is actually one of the friends from back in the day who convinced me to start-up BBT parts store a mere 28 years ago….
beside VW’s off course a lot of other vintage driving iron…
Big american boat, sat cool on the lawn…
Ex BBT oval convertible, sold to this owner in 2001, restored the right way and a regular in our convoys
Early El Camino, still one of the coolest Chevy’s money can buy…
Now this is what we call patina, what a cool small truck!
All original DeSoto, very low mileage, original sold new in belgium, never restored, never painted, A real yammie car for purist original lovers…
Patina all over, Opel Rekord 1200cc in first everything!
Tractor division was slow, more than likely because of the weather, but still this Argentinian build “Pampa”, the South American version of the Lanz Buldog! 14litres one cylinder “Glowhead” engine, with big flywheels, a joy to hear and see….
Military division came out in force, no German tin here…except for the Opel Blitz…
We always get weak for Porsche Diesels… I loved this set up, with its fully operational cutter bar, a relevation for its time, antique today…
BBT banner in wind and rain, stay with proud!
Most fun gang of the show, the Honda Camino club, flanked by their “ladies chapter” yes these guys had loads of fun!
Belgium proud… Gillet, made in Herstal….
Despite the weather a beautiful afternoon filled with old iron, always fun, and for being a local show, we enjoyed a lot, and even more!
