In the year 2000 we did sell a 1950 ragtop split window beetle to our american customer Craig Shape, we even restored the car partially on customers request.
We loaded the car in a container direction east coast USA for delivery…
So we’re very delighted Craig emailed us last week a picture of the very same car, still in his own possession, only fifteen years later… how cool is that?
A very nice continuation with the car Craig, and we really did appreciate to hear about one of our old beetles still living well!
Craig is currently looking for a Ring and Pinion to repair its original fully crash gearbox, if any reader can help perhaps? just contact me on Bob@BBT4vw.com
