Our 1949 will life in a very beautiful “house” from now on!

With a more as good weather forecast for Western Europe, we give you this Friday an update from what’s new @ BBT with all pleasure… right before we start our (aircooled VW) engines and make ourselves ready for some great touring!
Finally finished!! Over 2 years of development, but we finished our Westfalia style louvered windows for the center side windows for your beloved Bay window bus.
Very high-end finished made from real nice polished aluminium. We guarantee a perfect fit and trouble-free working. This is a nice substitute.
We improved the fixation for the knob hex as we didn’t like the original spline design too much, so we made our own knobs and they’re not interchangeable with original Westfalia louver windows. All our windows will come standard with the knob so nothing to worry about!
Comes with a stainless steel mosquito screen, that will even keep the most nasty, small or big, bugs out of your camper!
Fits all year bay windows for the center side windows.

Of course we add some new sheet metal this week in our silver weld through sheet metal line.
We start this week with the inner panel right above your engine lid.
Between the engine lid and the tail gate as we say,it’s the inner panel so the panel that gives strength to the panel that attaches your engine lid hinges for the late splittie bus, made from Aug 1963 up to July 1966. The 1967 model year still has another pressing, because of the different tailgate lock. ….

Also for the late splittie bus we bring now the seat rails & brackets for the cab seats. Many times rusted away or simply cut out to put “modern” seats in this new rail and bracket set can be the perfect part to restore your bus back to stock conditions! Fits all buses made for the 2+1 front seat configuration made between August 1962 and July 1967.

We stock already longer time 14 & 15 inch inner tubes. For old cars and old wheels it’s simply more secure to mount an inner tube. Therefore we also stock the 16 inch inner tube for split window beetles and Barndoor splittie buses.
Plse pay attention that if you mount our inner tubes into an old style steel wheel you will need to place BBT 3990-100 rubber valve stem adapters to protect your valve stems against failures or cracking!

This is just the rubber washer between your running board and the fenders of your car. We sell these out as in the future they will be automatically be in the complete running board mounting kit.
