We don’t bring the news of bombed bridges, missile attacks or mass murder graves in terrible attacked Ukraine.
Despite that our thoughts go out to the victims of this human tragedy.
The border from Ukraine is only a mere thousand miles from BBT HQ, not far at all!
Nevertheless, we bring you our weekly update about what is new, changed or highlighted in the BBT parts program for your beloved Volkswagen, for you to learn and enjoy.
Welcome to the BBT News.
Too many bay window buses have been robbed from their original front seats over the years.
Sometimes the seat rails are cut out to make the local junkyard and offered seats from later model cars fit better.
Also, many seat rails have just been missing or rusty. Over-used because of a long life of service. Or the opposite, never used and frozen from just sitting.
The days are over when you could go to a VW parts store and ask for a couple of used rails cut out from donor buses. Most donor buses are gone by now…
Late bay window seats seem to be a more frequent victim than more early models. More than likely because the quality of the seats became lower (and cheaper) over the years.
Now we bring replacement seat rails for late model bay windows, to make your life easier when you try to bring your seat configuration back to original specs.
Our seat rails come in pairs, in and out.
Fits left or right front seat, depending on your seat configuration.
High quality made, in exact dimensions guarantees a flawless installation and perfect use.

Where your heater cables leave their tubes out of the chassis, VW installed small rubber boots. These rubber boots avoid dirt, dust or water entering the tubes and prevent all problems that might cause.
We offer the rubber heater cable boots for later model rear engined Volkswagens already HERE
Today we add the heater cable boot for the earlier Volkswagen models.
VW changed the heater control from the turning knob to the levers next to your E-brake, at the same time they changed these little heater cable rubber boots as well.
We are happy we now offer both models.

BBT News team wishes you a happy weekend!
A week ago a couple of Vintage VW & Porsche Old Speed lovers gathered for the first edition of a real gentlemens drivers reunion in the southern part of Belgium.
Too busy driving and having a good time we only have a limit number of pictures.
Enjoy!
Always fun to look at the massive amounts parts Volkswagen build to assemble the beetles.
Here we see a real early picture from engine cases and cylinder liners.
Hapy dreamy Sunday, dream about Volkswagen is always cool to do on a Sunday!
