Ever dreamed of a real and early Porsche 356, no ordinary B or C car, but a real A series?
VIN 101338 …. this is the real stuff…
As Porsche prices going trough the roof and prices paid for projects that need over 1000 Hours of labour on metal “resurrection” this is a gem for sure, as this car is really very very sound and solid.
Fenders rear left and right front been clipped during this princess life, but aside of that, it still has its original (solid) floors, where You gonna find another one?
Sat for decades in a heated garage in the North of the USA, hence the shape, this one was never left alone under a tree….
Mostly complete, seats, body panels etc… also the dash is pretty complete, that’s important.
The nose is for sure better than the average, we didn’t touch anything here, what You see is what You get! Battery tray need replacement, that’s actually the only real rot we could find….
Pedal cluster, fuel tap most electricity, all in a solid driver and passenger compartment.
Wowh, we do love original 356 floors… tells a lot about the whole car!
This baby is screaming for a restoration! Rear drums are Porsche… front drums VW, we can supply a period correct “A” engine and “A” type front brake drums for an extra…
Front windshield and some trim parts are included with this car.
We do dig them, don’t we? We worked hard and long to obtain this car, it was absolutely not an easy one, but hey, isn’t that what we’re knowing for? BBT brings You that different car, exclusive, and never been offered for sale no place for the last at least 25 years!

Yes, that’s how long it has been, that a couple of american VW friends decided to organise a “Back to the fatherland tour”
Thriving spirit behind the whole thing was Bill Collins and he gathered a whole bunch of VW friends from East and West Coast to participate on this crazy trip… all in early VW iron they wheeled all over the USA , UK and mainland Europe with Bad Camberg as their final destination.
We, at BBT HQ, hosted them a lunch break on their way through Belgium.
Here are some of the participants on the BBT parking lot, in front is Martha, the famous all original oval window beetle from Bill Bowmann from St Louis Missouri, co driver was Tom Niedernhofer before he moved to California.
Times flies as we all can see, but fond memories are here to stay forever!
