Seems the good old Diesel engine rebiuild will be finsihed soon, I hope so, as weeds will start growing in my little woodland so a lot of work for me and the Porsche baby ahead…

One of the most popular Portuguese newspapers in Brazil, Folha de Sao Paulo, has published an interesting comparison for both Beetle models, a ‘79 Beetle versus a new Beetle.
The writer is a popular journalist in Brazil who owns himself a 1979 model and had the chance to ride a new one, Mexican made, for 20 days.
The journalistic matter itself says almost nothing but nostalgia, but the comparison pictures are interesting.

Last week our beloved SP2 we picked up in Spain a couple of weeks ago (see previous Blog Posts) left the building to a new and cosy garage in Holland, the New owner is proud on his new Baby and I’m sure he will make something beautiful out of it!
