@ BBT HQ weather was the whole summer very unpredictable, but we survived and besides we experienced the most wet summer since observations we didn’t hit any other records….

We sell the engine lid hinges for 55-75 buses in our SWT line with BBT # 0157-25.

But we simply couldn’t resist to these nice reproductions as well.

In April 1965 Volkswagen changed the nut on your clutch cable to a wing nut, which we sell for years under BBT # 0907.

But until April 1965 VW used a specific nut with one domed side to adjust the clutch cable length.
This domed side fits perfectly in your early clutch fork.

We bring you now this special M7 clutch adjusting nut in a very high quality, comparable to OE.
At the back on the flat end of this nut it’s backed up by a M7 securing nut that can be found under  BBT # 8730-07 to secure the adjustment.

Sold each, only one needed per car.

The secret of a good car is in the details.

One of the details that is responsible for a lot of impressions checking out a car is the door check rod.
Nobody likes squeaking or cracking noises when opening a door.

For the beetles we supply  BBT # 0438-52 the complete door stop (or door check rod) for cars built August 1961 and later.
Many times however the entire door stop is still good, but only the rubber went wrong or is missing.

From now on we have this rubber buffer separately here.

Besides our own BBT # 2045 high quality spark plug cables with correct brown Bakelite caps, BBT supplies also BERU brand spark plug cables BBT # 2045-200.

Now we also bring back the German Bosch spark plug cables.

German Bosch spark plug cables are made from high resistance silicone with copper centers and come with black caps.

The tailgate from a VW bus is hold in open position thanks to two torsion springs.
To avoid that these springs would rattle against each other while driving there are two small rubbers to separate the springs from one another.

We made these distance holder rubbers  and like to offer them here.

BBT supplies  door hing pins for beetles since many years, in standard and oversize.
Play on your door hinges gives very poor closing doors, too much wear on locks and catches and just a very unhappy feeling in general.

In a perfect world you use a reamer to bring all door hinge pin holes to desired dimension.
But reamers are expensive and we still had requests for a more economical solution.

We found these high precision drills in the exact diameters that perform the job flawlessly.
