freezing’ to death… yes it exist, and all visitors to the Freddy Files witnessed first hand. the nice sunny spring weather from last years edition was not around, and missed by many, if not all!

Still turn out was good, and people at the gates told me they could receive 500+ of aircooled beauty’s, we made some icy pictures we like to share with You, and thanks God, the afternoon stayed dry,

who said “Radical”? Brasilia’s are cool too, this color combo I hadn’t seen before…. Top down…. not today! way to cold…:) early verts just have something of there own… always cool appearance….one of the better ragtop color combo’s…. aaaaaarg…; More radical? this is what it’s all about….  even better ragtop color combo, can You still choose? i should take both…:)  low enough?  356, 34 or notch? hard decision in this line up…  34’s making a weak spot in my collector dreams lately…. especially nice like this.  sad to see it out in this weather, but candy for the eye, low lights rules…. ok third radical and by far the best, better they don’t come, this will be real hard to beat…. not completely finished yet, but it had all the looks…. high creative job, saved enough and nothing too much, this is what’s custom is all about…. style….   was… palm green sand green…. now …..faded ….:) another way too cool 34, drool, drool….rusty but all there, with a perfect stance, come on Bob, lower your standards…:) crew cab extravaganza edition brought many “6 seaters” out …. here we came across the one of Dave Warren, photographer beside being huge VW afficiando… this became BBT pick of the day…. see below….and here something more radical…:) cool bay line up Philippe RToR…. present! ex BBT buses keep on rollin’! hey, our bus! first out as a Bugs on Wheels promo bus, well done Captain America! ys, I know, another very cool ride…. nice resto!no comments…. exactly like it has to be, BBT sticker is mandatory on a VW license plate! free beer for the owner!  low rider, some draw, some make, very nice try here! congrats to the creator…. isn’t that Geert Mommen behind the window? we had a good laugh for sure… Geert what You doing there…..:)

No Friday product update today, as BBT is in a very sad mood after we got the news BBT’s friend of da House, Dave Omel, died in a car accident on the night from Wednesday to Thursday….

Dave was a very close friend of the house and a mental support as well… we will always remember Dave as a main part of Eddy and Dave’s garage in orange California. our condolences and prayers will go straight forward to Eddy and Dave’s family, Eddy and Dave acted like twins brothers….

Besides vivid VW enthusiast Dave was a very important person to the Disney corporation as he managed Disney land in Anaheim California for several years, if not decades…

Dave drove his 1959 Karmann Ghia lowlight coupe into a Ford Bronco, the Ghia caught fire and Dave was not able to be rescued by people from the neighbourhood who tried very hard but didn’t succeed….

Another black day in BBT’s history, but Dave we will remember You always.. .our memory’s are fond and You will be with us for always…

If You want to pay some tribute to Dave, just visit the BBT walk of fame, (that’s the corridor between the entry/shop of BBT main building to the stairways for the offices upstairs all the frames there are hung by Dave when he was @ BBT HQ for the convoy to Bad Camberg 2011… this walk of fame will be dedicated now to Dave, forever, and will be our little personal tribute to Dave…

We really counted on Dave’s visit again for our next convoy upcoming June, Dave You will be driving with us, in our memory’s…
