Arrived late last night safely home… so hereby I give You a nice Volksworldshow  “after burner” to close the weekend……

Appeared on Facebook yesterday… we just picked it up…. seems the Volksworld Vintage showroom and Denzel baby was made for a perfect picture… somebody simply enough was there and saw the opportunity…. you get the picture?

or shall we ask the question, what would be a brand without its enthusiasts?

24 march 2013 - Meetings

Saturday morning we woke up with weather even worse as home!

SNOW at the end of March????? This must be Britain!

IMG_0131_blogAlways safety first, happy feeling when Ghost Busters is backing You up, with all old castles and legends, you can never be safe enough in Britain….. IMG_0133_blogCrowdy? What was the question? Or shall we call it “packed”! IMG_0134_blogEverywhere people, unbelievable….. IMG_0135_blogThe Vintage showroom was finished by 5.00am on saturday morning (I was sleeping that time, don’t worry) but it was worth the effort for sure, very cool! wowh!  IMG_0136_blogI couldn’t enter, as it was simply to crowdy and line up was huge, but it looked good, didn’t it? a lot of people pointed out the Denzel…. what’s this?????  We never mind to give some VW education…. IMG_0137_blogBackwards “through the window” shot, Denzel baby and D&S, nice couple huh? Should they talk to each other you think? Maybe in the night?  Imagine if they should telling their tales to each other…… wowh! Wish I could translate the automotive tongue to human language….:)IMG_0139_blogDenzel baby carried the BBT license plate, with pride! IMG_0140_blogSwap meet was overwhelming cool…. and packed as well….:) IMG_0143_blogSplit window bus slot racing drew crowds all day, fun to look at, very original…:) IMG_0148_blog IMG_0151_blog IMG_0152_blogOutside weather was terrible, cold, rainy, snowing, windy all you don’t need at a show…. so hardly crowds outside….  space enough to walk, until wind blew You back inside…. IMG_0153_blog IMG_0154_blogCool booth with some race cars, I thought the Classic Split window bus with the back ground of very aggressive race cars was a cool setting…. IMG_0157_blogFeuerwehr, Police, all emergency was on the side, where’s the ambulance? IMG_0158_blogJust before closing time I finally could enter the vintage showroom myself…. Look how Denzel baby smiles to You……:)

IMG_0159_blogTonight back on the train and back home, tomorrow is another exciting day at BBT HQ awaiting me….. hah, what a life…..VW life/)

23 march 2013 - Meetings

When Ivan from Volksworld ask me something I simply can’t say no, friends forever, and that’s why fiends are for, aren’t they….

Volksworld was thinking about a Coachbuild special line up and asked if I could come out with my Denzel baby. For Volksworld…. everything…. so I said Yes before Ivan even could blink an eye, and happy they where!

because it’s too cold to drive an open car across the Channel (I’m not that British!) My Baby Denzel was loaded in our trailer and towed with BBT’s trusty T5 workhorse (some like the license plate more than anything) going on board of the train (Le Shuttle) to arrive a mere 20 minutes later on the other side of the North Sea, where everything is about different, language, food, beer, they even drive on the opposite side of the road!!! the most crazy thing about their behavior of driving on the wrong side of the road (or was it the RIGHT side????) is they keep’on honking their horns until You do exactly the same, and they blamed the Nazi’s about their propaganda, this is more like brainwashing to me…..LOL; this to all my UK buddy’s, maybe especially to Keith Seume….. cheers!

So ok lets start to load that Denzel Baby in the enclosed trailer now, before it gets a Cold…..
