Holes for the hinges need to be drilled.

In 1963 the type2, bus, got a cab door upgrade, not only was the pull or “ice-pick” handle changed to a push button type.
The door would now feature a check rod, a very useful improvement that would enable you to keep the cab door of your bus in open position and at the same time
it would also prevent your door being opened too far – especially when a gust of wind passes by.
Available off the shelves here at BBT!

When planning to tow a trailer or caravan don’t just buy the tow bar, but also ensure you have all lights working properly.
To make things easier with the electric installation, we stock the below wiring loom that will make this job a breeze.
This kit comes with a 7 pin plug as well as the connectors and screws to complete the job! Available off the shelve.

4850-000 – Wiring loom tow hitch, 7 pin – All vehicles

This horseshoe shaped rubber is a proper knee saver, quite literally, it wraps around the steering column bracket and helps to avoid cutting your knee when going in/out your bus.
As with most rubbers they tend to dry out over time and eventually brake. Definitely a must have for any restoration.

7472 – Steering column bracket rubber – Type 2 03/55-07/67
