1 october 2015 - BBT Travels

Yesterday evening we enjoyed a cool night in Tokyo, good restaurants and cozy bars seems to be part of the Japanese life and culture… did we mind??? not really although Jet lag was triyng to kill us real hard!

Try this restaurant, next time around, a real extreme Japanese experiment… the food was so good, I simply forgot to take pictures…:(

DSC07268 Streets are more like manicured, Tokyo leaves a very very clean impression to us, @ every visit…

DSC07269 We ended up in a cozy bar from a VW friend… Mr Hide Wakabayashi in his “Cafe Streamline”… interior is all made by himself…. and on special request he play You a couple of real cool tunes on his “Gipsy” guitar…

After the night came the morning, a cool day with lots to do… some local VW friends decided to give us some side viewing today … yammie..

Yes, I’m an addict KLM frequent flyer, their planes take me always where I have to be…; and this 747 Kombi was no exception…

Ah!! Japan! That’s the destination… a week full of fun, full of Volkswagens, and full of excellent food! Yes, I’m in!!

Some impressions???… Arriving at Narita international airport in Tokyo, most easy is to take the bus to the city center and your hotel, very convenient transport…

If You like to travel by train, it’s a little cheaper, it’s a cool system and it works incredible, (more later this week about rails!) but as said, You first have to figure it all out….

You can choose your food mainly on the street at every restaurant, mainly by pictures, but here they had samples…

Shinagawa station, we stay very close, so this will be the start of our daily excursions…. this is normal density, rush hours are way worse….
