Have a nice weekend,
BBT’s Friday product update team.
This oct 1958 build multi color combi can suit all kinds of culture, so let’s rock and roll this baby!
More color will be very very difficult to realize on any VW bus, its weird and freaky, but its very cool and turns heads wherever You will bring it!
This baby isn’t that bad, it needs rockers inside out left and right, maybe a little couple of weldings in spots and notches, but all the rest is trouble free rot free!
High Taillight, uncut. VW moved up taillights when they changed from pressed bumpers to the so called “export” bumpers with the towel rails for the 1958 model year. These bumpers were necessary to meet to the American safety rules about bumper heights… in 1960 the larger taillights appeared, so this is really kind a special!
The roofrack stands out big time, full length, for You to load a LOT!
Please take a little attention to the Deluxe moldings on bumpers front and rear. a weird part to find these days as original as these are!
The uncut dash in the drivers cabin looks very cool, no door panels or carpet, don’t hide anything….:)
A crazy nice Bulkhead, talk to people who had to replace a bulkhead, its not easy task to find one, and its even more of a problem to weld back in to many…. no problems like that here whatsoever.
Loading door rocker is all gone, inside out, the left side is slightly better, but also has bubbles especially at the outer side. so better to replace if you want to make it good, but it can serve if You want… the rest of the bus is pretty dry with only surface rust…. exactly like we want them…
Engine do run and looks very well sorted out… also the rear apron with the hole for the crank handle is still in place…
View from the rear… split windows are cool!
Can You handle a real beast? This is not exactly a car for the pussies!
Even this bus was serviced before we bought it we strongly recommend a technical service before taking this gem to the public roads. Ce can provide all necessary works at cost.
