Summertime, …And the livin’ is easy….
The most beautiful summer song was written in 1935 by George Gershwin & DuBose Heyward.

Given eternity by Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong in 1957 as well Janis Joplin in 1968.
Multiple times covered every time since…

Did you know it started out as an opera song?
There were no VW’s yet in 1935 otherwise they would have been included…

Fish are jumpin’ …and our VW’s ride……
VWs just belong to the summer, or does the summer belong to our Volkswagens?

Summertime is beautiful, let us take that VW ride!
Every week we try to make that VW ride easier and more enjoyable, with more and better parts.

Welcome to BBT News.

We do offer bolts and clamps to fix the middle and rear seats in buses.
We bring you now the bolt to hold your seat in forged steel. (100% as original OE)

These bolts are manufactured by the OE manufacturer in a private production run for BBT.

How fortunate are we to be part of our beautiful Classic Volkswagen community?
With friends worldwide, magazines, parts distribution all over, shipping, shows, communities…

You name it and the Volkswagen community delivers.
World leaders should look and take a lesson…

We are proud we can continuously supply more and better parts to “our” community.
Some brand-new releases this week, as every week.

Welcome to the BBT NEWS.

We complete our line front axle grease caps.
Grease caps are sitting over the nuts adjusting the play on your front wheel bearing.

Most Volkswagens have at the left a square hole for the speedo cable and at the right there are completely closed.
Today we present you the grease caps for T25/T3/Vanagon.

Originally Volkswagen placed a small rubber plug covering the square hole on a “left” one to use on the right side.
We made a proper right side without (square) hole.

We made what VW should had made but didn’t.
We finished our T25/T3/Vanagon in black paint, exactly like original.

These caps will not fit all-wheel drive Synchro models.
Our complete family of grease caps for your classic Volkswagens HERE

We make all our grease caps to exact OE specifications.

1359-660 Greasecap spindle right – Bus 08/79-07/92 BBT

After years of research, we found a good manufacturer for chrome lock covers.
Volkswagen used chrome lock covers on several applications.

We are proud to present you the 100% correct lock cover for 67-68 treasure chest locks.
Exactly used on last year Split window and first year Bay window single cab pick-up truck.

100% exactly like original stamped in high grade chrome steel.
Complete with spring that helps the upper lid cover the hole in the lower lid.

To stay in place we made the covers with correct length of the legs in the back.
The earlier “butterfly” model and later Bay window model with the tab are in development too and will be released soon!

0428-310 Treasure chest lock cover pick up – Bus 08/66-07/68

Absolutely not happy with the existing reproduction and after losing another one we decided the market deserved better.
We made our new engine lid lock cover for Split window bus with correct long legs.

That is right, we started from an NOS model and made the legs same length as original.
Once the correct length legs plied to keep the cover in position its fixed and keep on sitting.

You do not need glue, Loctite or TEC-7 anymore to keep our lock covers in place.
100% exactly like original stamped in high grade chrome steel.

Complete with spring that helps the upper lid cover the hole in the lower lid.
Now you can mount your engine lid lock cover exactly like it was meant to be.
