Yesterday I showed You how we prepared all Porsche 356 parts for shipping….. today was loading time!
We first lined all up in the morning..
let’s start put it in the container!
Ever saw a “load of 356 bumpers before?
half way… it’s getting empty here…
Personal assistant Bruce was a big help all week-long!
Remains of a Porsche Pre A are loaded… did You see the speedster hardtop?
At the end we put two remains of 356 B cars … one on top of the other…
Two guys did the job…. thanks Bruce!!
Special thanks also to the guy from Home depot for all is help with my purchase of straps… and also very special thanks to our buddy Tom for the use of his Supersonic nail gun… wowh that was a blast??? without Ray (Speedwell) nothing would have happened… and all very special to my friend (or shall I say brother?) Mark for granted me the change to buy this lot…
Tomorrow we fly home, but I have some more California to show you in the upcoming days. Stay tuned on the BBT blog.
We bought (and sold) a complete 356 Porsche parts lot… and somebody had to work hard to load all and everything!
let’s start!
Every pallet we load give some more empty shelves…, this is all and exclusively 356 parts… imagine!
we all loaded in full pallet boxes… 14 in total, sheet metal parts en body parts being prepared as loose items…..
job done, Toyota worked real hard…
Linda, here in her field office, prepared packing lists and paperwork…. all had to be counted and weighted, and somebody had to write it all down!
empty shelves are what we left…:)
some parts cars were included as well!
So all this will come to Europe, if you need any used 356 part, changes are LARGE its in this lot… we’re happily ready to direct You to the new owners who will receive this container somewhere in the beginning of December…
Worked hard on this, but being good friends means something to many people, I was able to buy this car because of a really old and cool Friendship… thanks Alex, I really do appreciate this…
1957 convertible, very dry and very solid… very complete too, your real Eighties cal look! Parked long time ago in a garage, and came out recently… very healthy and cool running 2;0 liter engine, and Porsche 356 brakes all around… this can be an extreme cool ride after a very easy restoration…
any interest in a cool little cruizer? its running and brakes do work fine, engine is VERY strong! New carbs everything…
