17 october 2017 - Friends of the house

After my return from Japan and India, and the complete rush through the week full of visitors, I left sunday morning early to visit some of our trusty customers and other contacts in la bella Italia!

My heart is for a large part in this country as I like the style and their way of living a LOT!

The Nonna is always most important member of the family, You better never forget! A picture with the Nonna is always a moment of honour and glory!

Senora el tua cucina sono incredible, grazie infinite per il tutto e anche al tuo fillio e sua moglie multo brava!

I started to visit Domenico, we invited me for pranzo (lunch) grazie tante Domenico, per un pranzo superiore!

In the afternoon I rushed to  Giampiero and visited his museum, Volkswagens and Vespa do mix up quiet well actually!

Oh my God!! What’s this???? A real old Piaggo Ape in all its originality with an incredible patina? Do you know something more typical from Italy as an Ape? I don’t… could You resist this little baby? well… I couldn’t and I bought it on the spot!

The proud new owner with his new toy…:)

Giampiero’s little museum is very cool!

Porsche Junior all aboard…:)

My (Soccorso) score of the day…:)

Hmmmmm more Ape pictures, just loving it!

Do I fit in all right??

And then the evening came and we had to eat, right? La cena (the dinner) is always important as all food really is in Italy…

Giampiero took us to Chieti (where the Ape lived all of its life) to a restaurant called Ferrara, mind-blowing!

Vino, pasta, pesce, carne, dolce e multo caffé…. our first day in Italy was a good one…. let’s continue to Tuscany today!!

oh yes, for sure, if You ever come to Abbruzzo plse make sure to get a “Cena” in ristorante Ferrara, something You always will remember! www.RistoranteFerrara.it

16 october 2017 - Cars for Sale

A couple of weeks a go, we thought like, why not just line them all up for a cool picture… because we like to DO even more like to THINK You can see the result below…

This is all BBT cars, 2 are private collection, one was sold at the moment we took the picture, one sold last saturday and all the other ones…. are for sale!!

If we go in to detail I can You learn all details from 9 out of 11 splits on the picture!

Let’s start with this marvelous restored 1952 crutch cooler split a candy for the eye and all original…. this car we sold last saturday to UK.

This is a June 1949 export split, all patina, incredible looks and presence! This car was almost 10 years part of BBT’s private collection but we recently decided to sell because we simply have to many cars ourselves… this is a unique opportunity to own a very early and a very original split window beetle!

Click on picture for more details and all pictures!

This is a 1951 standard beetle, still pure driving…. a standard they dressed up with chrome tail lights, I kind a like it!

This car is a complete driver but need some check up on electrics and a complete service and tune up but runs and drives!! the door handle is back on meanwhile (with a freshly cut key!

“The Beast” as I call it is a real cool 1952 crutch cooler beetle project with loads of potential (and an original interior) that was last I don’t know how many years under cover in a barn, we didn’t clean it, we thought the dust was part of its history!

Mr Roadrunner, is a 1950 export splittie slightly lowered in the front and with a killer 1915 engine, this baby is fast, full runner and driver… with a, dare we say, kind a kinky interior, we feel this is the deal of the century as this car is so cool and very moderate priced!!

We have this patina split for the real  die-hard enthusiast, it can serve easily as a cool (and good) donor for a nice restoration or it can be your perfect  base for one of worlds coolest patina looker we’ve ever seen, choice is yours, but we have it and yes we do sell it!

This 1952 zwitter patina split is a real cool car with a cool interesting history….but unfortunatly sold a while ago to UK and we will deliver in the upcoming weeks…  sorry to say this is sold like that.

We dig them don’t we? BBT and VirginOutlaws.com rock baby, and this time we rock splitties BIGTIME!!
