Last week a huge container with parts from Brazil arrived.
The long strikes at the port of Santos and from the truck drivers made supplies very difficult out of Brazil for a while, but we’re back on track!
Container contained a huge order from Varga-TRW-ZF with brake parts, after our new agreements and terms from March deliveries picking up again. We’re happy we can announce we can keep supplying the good Varga quality at about same prices to keep our Volkswagens on the road! in a couple of months the supply should be back on the old levels, or actually should be better and more frequently.
Autolinea also had a large share from the container this time, The Autolinea German cylinder heads been noticed by the market and do sell really well, and finally we got a new batch of engine cases!
Container opening …40’ of fun parts for your Volkswagen.
Are You ready for a super easy project?
For sure it needs work, but there’s no real rust, no place! All we could find was a little on the battery box and a very small strip on the right front fender, more than likely from rubbing the tyres. The rest of this body AND chassis or dry as a bone. The shape of the body reveals a dessert life, all life long! Rock solid and dry as a bone… This is by far the best You can find them, we’re very happy we came across this one and put our hands on it right away!
How cool is an early Ghia dash? The 911 steering wheel is a cool touch but miss the horn button. The seats are the original from the car and only needs new upholstery.
The corners under the rear seat are rustfree as well, the entire car is really rustfree!
Previous owner told us the engine ran, but its standing for so long and we think a serious service might be better first as try to make it run.
Look how dry underneath, all You can see is surface rust… don’t we like them this way! yammie…
Also rockers are all original and rust free!
What a beast! So happy we did find a good Ghia for You!
Nothing beats a small tail light Ghia, not hacked or messed up, just a pure “used” car… Thanks to dry California for providing this car to us!
