16 december 2014 - Rare and for sale

Ever dreamed of a “special” barndoor panelvan? Here we offer you a Double door…

Still need some work, but a lot of stuff is still very good and in general this is the better as the average Barndoor project to restore…. with a very special bus in the end…

DSC06838_blogWhat it need mainly is some rocker works on the left side. On the right side it need inner and outer rocker, part of the cargo floors, and some of the belly pan replaced, furthermore there’s some dents, a battery tray and cab floors to be replaced. In barndoor language this sounds absolutely not that much to me….

DSC06839_blog DSC06840_blogOn the pictures of the right side You can clearly see all the damage…

DSC06841_blog DSC06842_blogAll glass, handles, tail lights etc do come with the bus….

DSC06845_blogThere’s a 30DIN (that’s 36SAE) installed, as a core engine, it’s not matching numbers, but its the correct engine type.

DSC06846_blog The real “Barndoor” engine lid is still in place! Original gas tank and spare wheel tray are present in the engine compartment.

DSC06847_blog Sides and raingutters are pretty straight, way above the average Barndoor project!

DSC06848_blog Loading doors at both sides means endless fun!

DSC06849_blog Cab is mostly complete, all pedals, steering, dashpod etc etc, even its original front bench is coming along!

DSC06851_blogThe dashpod is pretty complete, even with its original key!

DSC06852_blogNice OG paint cargo area… when you into barndoors you saw worse, didn’t You?

DSC06857_blog Original lettering for gastap still in place! wowh….

DSC06873_blogA nice project for a very special result….

DSC06887_blogWe do find them don’t we? Well that’s our job! We work hard top obtain only the very best… Here’s another prime example of VW collectabels…

14 december 2014 - Fun

Yellowstone National park is a way to fun natural reserve that host an array of geysers, volcano’s mud pots, hot springs, Lava and the most beautiful natural views You can imagine… but it also still host its original gas station from the twenties, closed many moons ago somewhere in the seventies if my memory remember well… but they kept the building and everything is close to untouched ever since closure… enjoy this very early tourist saver!
