This week we testfitted new samples of our High Hinge cargo doors.
We choose a total original 1958 Westfalia camping box to testfit our samples.
Never welded, complete original rock solid body…. original paint everything.
Testfitting we do in style, big style!
Good news! The High Hinge cargo doors do fit now as a glove!!
All hinge screws went in flawlesly and overal perfect fit.
The factory has all components pressed already and start the assembly already on the new jigs.
Soon they will be shipped, in a couple of months for sure available, you can make reservations now…

We’re helping out a friend of Da Houze in needs selling his 1961 standard beetle project.
A cool project car on cable brakes, 3 spoke steeringwheel and all other specific “Standard” features.
The 30hp engine was replaced by a 34DinHP (36 and 40hp SAE for our American friends)
Pretty untouched ready for a complete restoration.

4 january 2022 - Friends of the house
Between Christmas and the New year Bob visit BBT Hungary.
Michi and his team distribute all BBT parts in Hungary for over 20 years out of Budapest.
Budapest can be considered as one of most beautiful cities in Europe.
Clean and too many nice buildings to lose counting!
The visit was followed by a marvelous dinner cooked by Michi’s wife and enjoyed by the whole company in Michi’s home. Bob only had one word; delicious…
