What is happening around the world?
Why do people like to spend more money than before? Much more than before the pandemic started?
Do we all like to treat ourselves? You bet! We think about ourselves….
Seems we think more about today, less about tomorrow.
The fact is with extreme high demands for consumer goods and shipping lines who build off activities at the start of this pandemic, the shipping prices (and transit times) are rising too, never thought to be possible, new heights.
We used to pay around 3500€ for a 40ft container from Taiwan to Belgium a little over a year ago.
New rates for July telling us over 15.000€ for that same container now.
Meanwhile transit times moved up from 4 weeks to 10 weeks, which means we have continuously 7 or 8 40ft containers with SWT on the water… that’s a lot of money floating around!
Therefore prices of our consumer goods will be effected.
Unfortunately bulky goods as our Silver Weld Through Panels will have a necessary price increase of 10% from July 15.
Up until July 14th all deliveries will be at our current prices, from July 15th on we will have the new prices on our entire SWT line, including on backorders and reservations.
When the situation will improve and shipping prices will coming down again (will they ever???) we will lower our prices again, but we do not see any perspective for that in the near future. Hence this action.
From model year 1976 VW beetles and buses got separate headrest on top of their seats.
Beetle only in the front, bus could be equipped front, middle and rear.
Always as an option, to order separately.
Only certain export and deluxe models got the headrests as standard equipment.
The guides of the headrests sliding in plastic posts inside the seat.
These posts are several times missing, cracked or worn out.
Why not replace these old scruffy posts with our brand new state of the art headrest post now available?
Will fit also most other VW models like Golf 1 & 2, Passat, Jetta, Audi 50 & 80 and others

Till 1960 with the “steel air” type of cooling on your VW engines the heating came in the car under the rear seat.
To damp the noise of the engine, these cars had small silencers under the rear seat.
As only VW worthy they come in two models, changing in the 1956 model year.
We’re proud to introduce you BOTH models from now.
Comes in two parts, upper and lower, but as they’re identical you can use 1 pair to repair both your lower or upper pair in case the opposite side is still good.

Originally used to mount the brake line connections on the back of your chassis like our BBT # 1256 or BBT # 1256-100
VW used here a 22mm bolt up to 71 and 25mm length later on, so we have both, millimeters matters…:)
Besides this these bolts must have a zillion other applications…

We like to give a small update here that our BBT # 0342 seal between glass and vent wing frame can be perfectly used on the fresh air distributor flaps of your split window bus fresh air box.
With longer transit times, over demanded suppliers and shortage on raw materials delivery times drives us crazy.
It seems we’re not alone, all in a sudden many companies realize that “just in time” often means “just too late”….
So what’s happened with the toilet paper in the grocery stores at the beginning from the pandemic happens now on an industrial base, only to make the problem even worse….:(
We get shipments in daily, we get you a small selection of what arrived last week and is readily back available from our shelves….
