Pretty busy lately we can tell, all BBT departments are about to crack! BBT workers are running, don’t walk anymore, and days fly over… Suppliers getting hard times to follow, Goods in gets over busted, Goods out is even worse… good daily work schedules are an absolute must… sales and purchase dept is loaded under Emails and paperwork….
Welcome to the 2014 “season”… (it goes so fast I even forgot to update our Blog yesterday! )
In between we manage some cars… ah!
First is a sad one, Kurt (knows everybody) his “Kweenoni” samba had a bad crash, and came in for insurance case, sad to see the bus that amused so many with its DJ acts see sitting like this…
Nice patina oval came in, was on the blog last week… nice huh? still available! inquire now….
huh! a Gogomobil needs to be transported to USA, a real BBT job….:) if you have cars to ship to the West coast? We load a container next Monday, so be quick!
Nice (very) little sports car… great luxury….:) who bought things like this back in the day is the question I always ask my selves…..:)
and the Heinkel A103 scooter came also in for shipping, looks like somebody gonna have a lot of fun in the USA….:)
nice view all three together….
ah, my new toy… 1955 panel van walk through, right in time for the Ben Pon meet next week, yes it was already registered…
can’t resist things that carry my name…..
another delivery ready for France!
Bye bye beauty, wish you a pleasant next life with lovely owners…
The last edition left the building as well… another space available…:)
cool stuff a vanagon on a tow truck… kind a magic…:)
Two real beasts, 1964 and 1965, both came in and sold within two days… congrats to the new owners, they bought nice panel vans.
and a general view from whats left.. still enough to choose from…. looking for a specific VW model? We get several new cars in weekly, never buy without contacting us… we’re not only selling VW’s, but we love, live, breath VW! Definitely worth a question or a visit!
Every body do know the Alabama song… this is the real thing…:)
State of Alabama is not my normal buying territory but due of circumstances I ended up with this car…:)
its a pretty good and complete car, it needs a little rust repair, but really a little, and can a complete mechanical “gone through” because its stands for a while..
as pictures tell You more as a thousand words we made another set of honest pictures for You to evaluate.
Body lines are good and straight, the car has still its good structure, what’s very important for a convertible…
a cool look, whatever You like Yellow or not, its a lemon, and we do love seventies colors, this is really “your typical”
dash is all complete and unmolested, a nice start to whatever, a driver or a total resto project…
woohoo, the steering wheel is looking for drivers!
we do like aerial shots, we couldn’t resist this one…
Engine is all complete, we didn’t touch the car mechanical wise, we didn’t fire it up, we can make it a full serviced driver as per request of buyer, in that case we will do at cost.
Front trunk has a nice carpet set, and the “souvenir” Alabama plate”.. part of its history….:)
Front clip don’t show any old collision damage…
This baby need a little rust repair as stated at the top… but its only repair and no replacement,; two small corners and one small repair in the front to the chassis rail, that’s all we could find so far, in general the undercarriage looks all like this…
Headliner is still ok, but outer hood needs replacement as there is a couple of holes,
This is a perfect car for a new hobby, or as a first VW… convertibles for the prices of sedans are rather rare, especially in this pure condition. This Amlabama candy is priced to sell, very economicly…. our suggestion is to make it a driver, enjoy it, when You really like it in a couple of years You can still restore it…
