This was not the most easy part to remanufacture and especially not as easy as it looked at first side.

But we simply had to do it.

The infamous Red Plug for the early bay window bus steering box.

Perfect reproduction with the little O-Ring around the neck and the little spring inside.

Although the head of the plug is slightly different diameter on late model bay windows this baby does the job perfectly on the late bay steering box as well.

Many times missing or we saw them rusted, bent, plied and misabused only to name a few.

Whatever, we supply them now brand new directly from the BBT shelves.
We had to massage the SWT factory pretty hard on this one, as they didn’t believe in this product separately, they preferred to sell the fresh air boxes complete.

But now available separately.
This grill is a proud add-on to our Silver Weld Through line of top formed metal products.

We worked hard to get this plug right and it took way longer as we first would have expected, but it came out wonderful!
We talk here about the infamous red plug for the early bay window steering box.

This is the only plug that will work properly as intended by Volkswagen back in the day.
With the little O-ring on top and the special designed spring inside.

The head of the plug being little smaller than from a late bay window, it works as good on these as well….

T2b lovers beware….
We found good quality door locks for late Bay window buses

We add them this week to our program as well..
For you to replace that worn out, old, overplayed door locks with this very nice priced replacements.

Lock that door properly, doors opening during a ride are extremely dangerous!

For the late Bay window, T2b from 77 – 79 Panel van we now also stock  the sliding door lock.
This fits as well to the Brazilian Kombi made between 1997 till the end of production in 2014.

This is a real nice reproduction item that works very nicely.
