New years dishes are digested.
But our promises stay firm.

We keep our VW lifestyle alive!
Welcome to the BBT NEWS.
More Splittie Bus SWT metal news!
We now present the late model "toolbox" under your front seat.
There are two models for the toolbox.
Changing together with the bulkhead in 1963.
The early toolbox is already longer time available
HEREThe late model runs further to the bulkhead
Comes with two loose reinforcement plates on the underside.
Karmann Ghia lovers we bring you a complete door panel set.
Including the cool molding, just like original.
Full set is for KG Coupe.63-
For KG convertible 63- you only use the front panels.
Door panels for your Beetle

Brand new coil clamps for Type 4 engines in a late bay window.
These coils are fixed totally different as on a Type 1 engine.
On a Type 4 you have to take the coil off for getting the engine out of the car.
Hence many original clamps are bent or simply lost and missing.
We give you a perfect brand new clamp, exactly like original.
We add extra cap for our switch knob
BBT # 0636-970This knob is originally used on Bay window bus, T25/T3/Vanagon and 181/Thing/Trekker.
BBT # 0636-975 cap does not have any logo, for diff-lock on a T25/T3/Vanagon Syncro.
Can be used also for an extra switch or if you don't want any logos.
BBT # 0636-973 is the cap for the wiper/washer switch for Bus 08/67-07/72
This cap operates the window washer as well.

The BBT Westy tent is in production and close to return.
We already bring the original Tenax fasteners.
Tenax is the most powerful "clip-on" fastener.
Used on original Westy tents, and many more applications.
Also useful for any convertible or speedster application.
Simply where two soft materials need to be regularly, but not permanently, connected.
For correct installation we add also the small Tenax Key.
Tenax is a trademark and only produced by the original manufacturers.
The washers for Type 1 rocker arms are now back available.
Should be changed at every engine rebuild.
No longer available from Volkswagen, forced us to start our own production.
The OE manufacturer was friendly and helpful to start up a new production.
Quantities have been huge to get a good price and we succeeded.
Another production came to an end and made quality parts back available.
Lets renew our new years promises and keep them forever.
BBT News Team wishes you a relaxed weekend.

Hi Craig
Thanks for your inquiry.
These side panels for 67 double cab are hard to find everywhere, not only in Australia. The problem to make them is the tooling, as these parts serve only for a very limited number of buses. So far there is no plan yet, but I March i will have another Factory visit and I will bring it up in our new project discussion.
Always at your service
Bob
