Saturday afternoon BBT’s Die Hard innercircle gathered for a weekend of fun about an hour drive South East from BBT HQ.
Long term BBT friends Geert and Karl put on the first edition from their VW show “Bugs on Wheels”….
Trusty 1959 Westy would serve as our private hotel on wheels again!
We decided to take a 1969 T2a along for sale, didn’t sell actually, so in case you’re looking for one, this is still available…:)
BBT HQ mobile division…. our “camp”… for the weekend….
Being in a small town, the whole town was “under meeting” and part of the fun…
This was the parking spot for vintage and stock, was kind a cool spot!

Saturday we had a hell of a party with live music from KOYLE (they rock) sorry no pictures…:)
Sunday we had this great BBQ for lunch, hey after a night of party, we could use this food!

The whole town opened up terraces etc, very livable, everybody having a good time, typical Belgian… beer, sun and a place to sit… we’re simple, we don’t need anything more…:)
BBT’s pick for best Patina…. we just loved this patina drooling of bike AND bus!
This Zwitter made it for BBT’s best Vintage reward, especially not over restored, we liked the appearance very much!
Jean Marie brought out its all original 1948, wowh, what a time capsule, yes Geert, give him that well deserved price!
Bugs on Wheels Main street, Sunday afternoon crowd was impressive, probably the perfect weather had to see with that….
Ghia Stef had a nice line up with some of his cars…. always beautiful and spot on, GhiaStef do knows his stuff for sure!

We like lay back atmosphere shows like this one, just strolling the streets, visit all nocks and cranny corners and check out all cars

Because the organisation had the Captain America bus in “loan” to promote the show the whole spring I got my private reward… wowh! this is a cool one, thanks guys, you showed me exactly where my weak spot is!
We look back at a really cool weekend, perfect Saturday evening entertainment, extreme good organisation, till very small details, a team of enthusiasts organizers always ready to help where needed and good food and drinks, a location that was nice and cosy, big crowd, only car turn out was kind a light, but for a first edition, this is one to follow for sure….
