When VW do Brazil quits production for the door check rod for bay window buses a mere 10 years ago, supply dried up soon.
With no sources left BBT decided to team up and start our own production.

This was not an easy one and took us four years to finish as we wanted it.
We needed the right tension on the spring, the correct looks, the prefect density on the rubber and many more details to be correct at once.

Our Economy floor plate too thin, our OE Quality too expensive for many.

We teamed up with IGP and bring you this 1mm thick floor plate with a better paint finish right in between.

The 1968 model year was one of these model years the beetle had loads updates.
One update was the fuel tank breather.

The rubber that connects the breather pipe with the fuel tank during first 6 months for the 68-model year was discontinued and VW already changed the design after 6 months.

BBT tooled up and brings back this specific 6-months only rubber.
High quality, with correct dimensions, made after a German NOS part.

Early beetles always had a weak spot in the BBT hearts.
We bring back the dash pod mounting kits for split window beetle, Early Pre-A Porsche and barndoor buses.

Will fit all switch nuts that a Volkswagen dashboard has.

6 volt or 12 volt and even on most aftermarket nuts too.
Leave the pliers in the drawers of your toolbox.

Behind the handle of your emergency brake BBT # 0523-100 belongs a rubber buffer that protects the plastic guide from cracking BBT # 0523-103
Many times missing, cracked, totally faded or completely worn out.

We tooled up and have a brand-new solution for you.
We simply bring you back this buffer!

We already had the transmission gasket set for Bus 68-75, as BBT # 1415-650

Now we add two new gasket sets to cover all manual transmissions for Type 1, Type 2 and T25/T3/Vanagon.
These kits include all paper gaskets and O-rings, but not the flange seals, sealing caps or shift shaft seal.

We used to sell these washers in stainless steel.
Stainless steel not being the correct material for tension washers we now changed to mild steel.

With this combination you get back a stock application.

These grills have been produced exclusively for BBT in Germany on our private tooling.
