ah, we catched another one… very hard these days to find a Ghia convertible in the USA worthy bringing over, we don’t want bondo buckets, or heated up death bodies, but this car spoke to us… it’s an honest project ready to be attacked… if we don’t sell it, we seriously consider to restore our selves!
Check all pictures, the car needs the classic parts like flood plates and some rocker repair, but wheel wells are real good, and that’s the most important to us!
Not too bad huh? I was happy with this one on my trailer! This one look way worse then it actually is, and is totally uncomparable with European counter brothes that been restored and badly welded in the seventies and eighties…

Believe it or not this cute little kombi started life as a Westfalia Pop top. For one reason the previous owners dismantled the pop top and mounted a sliding roof (currently not working) early Westfalia had the same roof like a sliding roof so the roof fits perfectly, and one day can be made working again, or place a pop top again and have a nice Westfalia!
This bus is driver quality. All mechanics been sorted by a local friendly VW repair shop. We drove the bus to the port before loading, a trip from over an hour, without any problems down the road. still, as always, we recommend a service and check up before heading off to the public roads.
Inside they placed an original bay window rear seat… so all options are possible! Enjoy the pictures.
As You can check from the pictures this baby is rock solid! And a good driver too!
