This is how we like to find them… pretty ratty looking but a jewel underneath!
This bus was last used as a guest house, believe me or not… but its a nice solid example with a very good body under a layer of ratty primer….
Very straight body, rock solid as far as we can see. Remove the primer to discover the original paint or give it a new paint job to make it a shiny happy camper again!
In this picture man can discover ratty primer can be removed to re discover the original Marino yellow factory paint. Previous owner tried a little of paintremover to see a “test result” with a yellow “dot” as a result.
Engine runs but need a full service and tune up, the Fuel injection was removed and replaced with a carburetor set up… transmission seemed ok, but we didn’t make a road test with it yet.
Clean driver cab is always nice to see…
If the ratty paint job didn’t gave away what kind of people used this bus the headliner in the driver cab do for sure! Kind a cool huh?
Inside the back is all there and Westfalia for sure!
Rock solid cab floors, hard to find these days? Here’s what You’ve been looking for!
Some veneer of the cabinets is missing, but we can supply the veneer in kit as a special order these days…
Underneath… surface rust, but no rot as far as you can see….
All complete… all straight…. all solid…. who can ask for more???
