Besides making and producing fine products for your beloved VW, BBT also buys the brands we all like to use on our restorations…. This week we had a full delivery from Hella… Hella still makes a very nice German quality early headlight for Beetle and Bus…..
We thought it would be fun to share these pictures with you….
On feb 17 1972 the 15.000.034 VW beetle ever was produced, this day the VW beetle production surpassed the Model T Ford production and became leader as most produced car ever.
For this special occasion VW launched a very limited series of production beetle called in German “The Weltmeister” (world champion) in other countries this special model had different names, in Holland and Belgium it became the marathon edition, in the US it became the Baja edition…
The beetle we present you here was brought in by us from Dallas Texas, and is a US version from this famous “Weltmeister”. Specific in color, wheels and a load of other accessories…
This is a very original example, first paint with a very high “wawh” patina…
Exactly like an old beetle should look in our eyes…
not perfect, but so nice to enjoy…
Daily driver anyone? This is a head turner…
Inside clean and original like the whole car
Will you take place behind this steering wheel? Imagine….
Engine runs, brakes do work, all need a service, what we can do at cost, or You can do to save the money… your choice…
Nice document about this “Weltmeister” editions provided by friend of the house Bert.

A really good Friday again, before heading home to enjoy the weekend, we’re glad to take our opportunities to give you some “food for brain” along. A short update about what we did with some of the BBT products, and what we added to our range from new parts…
First let us present you our new exploded view for our T25/T3 Vanagon catalogs, this “click and see” drawing is about the exhaust for the 1.6 liters aircooled fuel engines (1980-1982 models years), try it out, click on this drawing and be re directed to our online catalog, where you can click a red dot what you might need to get the exact picture and description of the exact part.
In our early beetle parts range we have this copper fuel line for a longer time, but for one reason (or another) it never made it to our catalogs, we adjusted this week. Perfect to replace your old worn out steel fuel line running through your chassis tunnel (chassis center section) or any other universal application.
