I talked with the guys from this double cab for a while… so nice hidden under their carports…

Cool! even on this small picture You see the Seemed side gate!! the other gates are in the car… as are the doors…:)

I wrapped it up , but that didn’t work that well, although i must agree it looked cool!…:)

So I towed it home without wrap…:) This baby is for sale, it is cheap, especially for what it is, but this early (Dec 1959) You will not find many!! It needs all the welding and comes already with some new strong metal parts for the chassis!

Ok first, don’t even try to pronounce the name of the town, You will not come even close…:)

Second, this is a good show, small and cozy, not worth driving 2000km, but since I had to be here, I’m happy I stopped by… so nice people and very cool cars… here’s my small report!

Setting was perfect on a campground who also hired “Stuga” (Cabins) and off course it was lake side, in north Sweden its hard to do something not at a lake side as there are lakes everywhere!

The black beetle was practically broken in two pieces when they got it from behind a barn!  They just pieced it back together…

And yes, there’ was a BBT convoy badge, this guy drove last year with us to Hessisch!

How cool comes this crew cab peaking behind the little house? I like this picture a lot! The crew cab might come for sale soon… in case you’re fancy…:)

Oh yes on friday night we eat all the Reindeer spaghetti!

BBT’s distributor for Sweden is VW Up North, and Mauri, the owner came down all the way in his all original pick up truck to join! This pick up truck was saved from the junkyard, it’s entirely first original paint, believe me or not!

Not bad for a white guy… I was till the last question second in a music quiz, … nothing very special except the presentation and questions came in Swedish!

Always nice to pack your “surprise” to enter a show… a lot of audience guaranteed!

Long time friend and real VW guy Woffe makes a couple of real nice sheet metal parts, I promised him a visit for many many years, finally I can take that from my bucket list…:)

Very welcoming when You enter the city of Gävle about 150km north of Stockholm…

Inside is a pretty impressive operation, with lots of jigs and measuring tools to check on his quality…

Very clearly this guy knows what he’s doing, and has a large aim for quality!

Outside is a cool parking lot!

Woffe also have his own “private stash” of cars… many comes with a story…

This 1950 split he swapped for a Bumper and a front hood from another beetle, believe me or not!

Every one of his twin boys got a Karmann Ghia for the 1st birthday, they turned 30 last week, talking about long-term owner ship!

Visited, checked and 100% approved… by yours truly!

ok hit the road again, further North, way North!!

Roads and landscapes get’s more beautiful the more north You go, perfect season, everything nice and green!

Sometimes they slow You down a little… loads of woods are everywhere! And yes this is still the major freeway, E4 North to South, on many places single lane street!

Final destination! More North we don’t go this trip… I’m 2000km North from home!

Today I visit the Bug Convention, the longest running aircooled Vw show in Sweden, this year edition 29!
