Finally we managed to finish the detailed mounting sheet for our Split window bus steering boxes, so we’re ready to start selling!
BBT ref. 1368-20 is a perfect alternative for split window bus steering box, installation requires slight (very slight) modification and steering capabilities change a little (more turns required) but at least we offer a serious alternative for so many totally worn out steering boxes…
We drove ourselves with the BBT Westy and BBT Back up truck and approved this steering… both cars been tested several thousand kilometers… The Westy we challenged with several Alp passes in Switzerland, The BBT Back Up truck always is heavy with its complete load of tools and spares in the back… in the beginning steering might be little “stiff”, but once settled the steering box works just fine!
As said not as original, but at least a good alternative! It comes with a very well detailed mounting instruction sheet in 4 languages…..
Contact your local BBT dealer for any further information or to order!
We got the request at BBT for some cars to play in a movie, Volkswagens of course… as we’re pretty busy we can not arrange cars from ourselves… Film will be filmed in Belgium in the next week and the makers are looking for next cars… of course makers will be wellwilling to pay for a small rent and your expenses (as long as not too much…:)) maybe this is your ticket to make your car famous? When You never participated moviemaking it’s a pretty nice experience anyway!
Tuesday Nov 2 in Zelzate (full day) White beetle 1968-1973 (will be decorated as Police car…)
11. 12 & 13 November full days in Balen…patina T2A preferable light blue but any colour will be welcome as long as there is patina, should be acting like a serious old working bus…
8 nov evening and 11 november full day… darkblue T2A (T2B will be considered) to act like old Belgian police kombi… look at picture below in the back ground…
all questions and offers straight to movie makers plse, on jelleclaeys@yahoo.com as it’s just a way to help these people out, BBT has nothing to do with it…. except being the messenger! Woehaaa….
If You can’t make up your mind for a bike or a classic car look what we did!
The best of both worlds believe me!
The cut-a-way beetle is a real 1957 oval convertible for wall display at BBT HQ, and the motorcycle? well it’s the new toy of my buddy Kobus! So sorry Kukie, but we will split your best toy ever any time soon again…
