I gave You the pictures of the show already, so my weekend was busy…. now its calmer water but still enough to see and do!
Entering the street of Randy near Pismo Beach You see this storage for all RV’s and campers, insane qty’s…..
Yep, the Patine extreme 19.530 original miles Low light Ghia is coming home now! What a fool who took it apart, and sandblasted it to let fade away in his backyard! Friend Randy acting for the model of the day!
On the way out I crossed this nice residential area, couldn’t let it go to stop and take a picture…
Nice drive to the next stop…..
Came across this Westy, sitting there for years, but not for sale… hard to deal kind a guy…:( well maybe one day!
Quick and super friendly stop in Calabasas where my friend Dave has this sister pair of 66 Ghia coupe’s sitting in his garage…
and to continue to Studio City with a mandatory stop at Eric’s place, after several top notch restorations (where under my ex Tempo Matador now residing in Autostadt) Eric showed me his last and almost finished project, a DKW Schnellaster Pick up truck!
To continue to see the skyline of Los Angeles….
Crazy traffic over here, with the odd classic car in between!, Just on the Freeway….. Only in California….
Delivered the Ghia to the shipper, and up to my next adventure…
That’s it, the last day delivered the last car to the shipper, 1979 Superbeetle convertible, needs some TLC but rock and rock solid, interested? Send an Email to Bob@BBT4VW.com for all further information and or price…

Maybe this guy might have what I’m looking for? You bet, this is my buddy Eric’s place, Eric is a real cool VW guy and turns longer around in VW circles as myself! Nice yard he?
This is Eric’s shop truck, yep, ride in style baby… what a boat!
Anybody needs a body for a baja pick up? I think its almost free, as they like to get rid of it… but transport might kill ya…:)
A little bit further down the road I do find this 67 first owner patina superb beetle sedan…. almost bought it, but it needed too much welding….:(….. Interested in this beetle? I do have more pictures I can send You, just contact me, but face a serious transport price, as the car is very far North….
Driving south, endless straights, but kind a cool, only be careful for this big 18 wheelers full size trucks (or semi’s as they call the here)
Country road, take me home, to the place I belong…. its getting almost dark, time to look for shelter…
….to rise and shine early, only six hours drive later I found this….:) I like this pictures, can stare at them for hours!
Woeps, picked my trailer back up in North North California (where hippies still life in their VW buses, no joke!) and see my load! A real long time owner old man, passed away, his pride was this 1962 Turkish VW truck, no rust, first paint, all complete, insane history You name it, let’s bring this home for a thorough clean and detail!
Oh yes, the picture? Also VW hunters get hungry sometimes… IN-N_OUT Burger is the best period (except for “The Counter”…:))
and soon it was dark again, sleeping in the wilderness of North North California….:)
To wake up and drive in to town for a coffee, right behind this daily driver beetle commuting to his job… yep, still in California, still in use….
Just to nice to not to stop for the mandatory picture…:)
HWY 22 Highly recomended! Beautiful mountain road… especially with the trailer….:)
