This so cool! A one repaint oval window in Horizon blue, a common color, but not a common sight anymore to find untouched like this one is! This car left the Wolfsburg assembly lines on December 1956.

The Ubercool thing about this car is the big chrome search light on the roof, adjustable from the inside! So fifties!

No polish, no clean, this car was only given a quick wash! If old cars should look old, this is how good as they can come!

An extreme high originality factor, especially with its all original taillights still in place!

All in same period livery, bumpers, hubcaps, no real damage to the body, yammie, these are the kind of oval window beetles we like that much!

Inside we see a lot of the all original upholstery, and a total virgin dashboard, steering wheel and column, and a nice view through the front windshield! Originality rules!

The special anti theft ignition and steering lock was a very popular item back in the day, it is still very desirable today and still in place since the early days in this car!

Look at the foot compartment with all its original carpet! Not exactly a type of car they put apart for 5 or more times yet!

A nice and complete real 30 DIN (that’s 36 Sae) Hp engine fills the engine compartment, unfortunately not matching numbers but build in Nov 1955….

Under the front hood time stood still as well, a real time wrap indeed, with its original spare and luggage cardboard protection, all period, all original to this stand out example of originality!

A very solid spare wheel well is always an extra on a car like this, look how beautiful, and original, untouched, not messed up, this is what we would die for!

Last two days we could receive 2 containers out of Volkswagen Do  Brasil with 4 brand new Kombi’s Last Edition series! Already this morning the first one left to his new owner!

Really well strapped, no problem for BBT Koen, our in House experienced “car out container getter”…

once out was cool to have these Brand new VW’s in our warehouse, it was the very first time a brand new Classic came in our new Warehouse…

Once in a while we’re so lucky to score a real early pick up… this one served a VW repair shop for so many year in California… was build in October 1956, a very early Vw truck that can be in your collection soon!

Very solid, but with last repaint they used a little bondo to fill dents, and not the most best way so the car shows a couple of cracks,

How cool a pick up with pressed bumpers can be!

Original engine lid with the brake light still present! Uncut taillights and the correct rear pressed bumper (different like a kombi!)  for this model. A rather rare gem!
Nice and smooth, a very good overall condition for a truck worked so hard its whole life!

The dent on the left rear taillight we didn’t want to fake away on the pictures…

Drivers cabin also well used but as good as complete! Did I mention the original factory paint (Dove blue) in the cabin? Now how rare is that?

Smooth and straight side gates are a very well addition to find on any model split window pick up… worth a small fortune on their own, they come together with the entire car!

Cab floors for sure above the extra ordinary!

Very dry, very original underneath, another good Californian score for BBT! We do find them, don’t we?

We can’t get enough of these views, dry, solid, very light surface rust that show us its originality!
