A small update what we did last couple of days on the West coast except for hanging out!
Steve has a great time checking out cars in Northern California, FYI Steve, our BBT Honcho from BBT Spain, made this trip together with me…
What a rough excuse, but about good enough to transport a BUNCH of parts home… yes we do love the wine country…:)
We discovered Miss Turtle down the road…

Always nice to visit friend Mark Merrill and his collection, Steve enjoyed fully …:)
From Mark we drove to Paso Robles to my buddy Salvatore… man what a collection….
A real Rambler in First paint, all original, believe it or not….
and a color matching boat, all original, first paint, first engine and everything! oh and the bike is matching too!
a typical Californian Garage? Thanks for showing us around Sal! You have a hell of a collection…
Good to see our Gardenhouse on wheels (the all original Westfalia T5 for who remember) found a good new home, it was all first paint, oh yes, the Crestline convertible behind it is the matching car to this trailer, and yes, You can guess, all first paint and all original…. unbelievable!
More work await us in Pismo Beach… a load of bus front axles… some people will be happy seeing this pictures…
and thanks to a ZZ top band member (at least friend Randy look that way lately) we get the side windows for Steve’s friend Ivar to finish his project….
Hey Randy, there’s a hole in the roof, do you think we can fix this bus?
no leave it, just cut it into pieces, yeah! woohoo!

4 months I needed to pursue the owner friend of this bus to convince him to sell to me…. and that happened now even the first day of this trip!
1956 Palm Green Sand green all drooling patina beauty!
So nice to see it lurking in its tinny garage…
Blew me away at first , see that patina, 1956….
I could not talk the owner friend to leave the roof rack… so that will not come along…
nice patina everywhere…
Replaced cab floors look good!
Nice and strong 30 Din HP (that’s 36 SAE)
Also cargo floors are all replaced…
Smooth dash… yammie…
Nice replaced underside, with all respect for the patina…:)
Anytime soon in Belgium? Look the original bubble daylight, are You convinced yet…
it will take a while to get this baby home, what a beauty isn’t it? Or why not buy in California? we can ship all over the world….
