Il fratello mio, as I always call him, my Tuscany friend, Italian brother and big manitou from the largest BBT Italian distributor Dei Kafer Service, Giovanni Dei (right on picture below) made a very nice appearance in one of the Italian car magazines with some friends and some customers, and their latest rides…..wowh! …
No less then 20 pages of italian Volkswagen fun! On a Glossy cover!
Let’s shift to next gear after the Christmas and New Years period, @ BBT cars department many new arrivals make our “easy lay back winter period” a busy one….
It offers you the change now to buy at extreme cool winter pricing in the low season!
Two newbies in BBT car dept we like to offer here, arrived safe and sound from far far away West Coast of USA.
Out of respect age first…. this 1964 splitty left the production lines from the German VW Hanover plant in its wonderful color combination of Mouse Grey and white.
Served its whole life what it was bought for with the necessary tender love and care this is a remarkable totally untouched survivor.
Still sports its original factory paint means this baby can’t hide any collision, bondo, bad welding or whatever…. It’s something pure, original and down to the ground….
It needs rockers in and out and cab and passenger floors, parts available in good quality reproduction. It has an engine and transmission, so fairly complete, only needs an overhaul, doesn’t drive or starts at this point….
Drivers compartment is largely complete…. and clean, oh yes we do love unmolested dashboards in splitties….
In the back it’s empty, came as a Westfalia SO22 tin top from the factory, the furniture still inside was reduced to some rotten wood, so we decided to just take everything out for a better overview of the total…
Not too bad huh? Open to all options…
What about you behind this steering wheel? Stop dreaming, this can become reality now!
The second car we like present you today is a rock solid 1972 early bay T2a/b Westfalia rolling shell…
“Saved from the grave” and bought at a shop that was closing down just minutes before the old scrap truck should come to pick it up… Unfortunately far inland and some paper problems raised the price a little, but still rock solid cars are scarce so we’re proud to offer this!
Again… first original paint doesn’t hide you ANYTHING!
A complete body, but no engine, no trans and no interior… leaves this free to your imaginations… on request we can deliver a complete and nice Westfalia interior along or fit it to your rerquest, this off course at cost…
Interior was taken out nicely… who will ever tell why? Such a good bus!
Walk Through baby… hard to resist huh?
No engine, no trans, always wanted that fast Westy? Don’t pay for what you don’t need, start your project yourselves!
Clean and healthy, how many people wants a solid Westy? well more solid they can’t come, top of the bill, that’s it, period!
No comments, compare to 95% of the other Westies out there… get your hands on the good one now you can…
No undercoating, only slight surface rust on a rock solid body, like we used to find them easily 10 years ago, now become more like a rarity… Grab you change while it last….
Now that’s a cool pair of cool buses! We worked hard to find them and nail them down, transport and custom cleared them for EU community… So they’re both readily available in BBT HQ! Don’t let them slip away and contact us today! For the only real fast reply send me an email on Bob@BBT4vw.com for any further information and/or pricing….
Let your dreams come through….
It’s always sad and it makes us mad to see messages as these come in to frequently. Lost babies… stolen… criminals who just do not show any respect for a passionate person who doesn’t only lose his beloved ride but also loses his fate in his passion. The financial loss is one thing but losing a love is another issue.
This Porsche 356C has been stolen a long time ago, 01/04/2007… But for the owner it feels like he lost his baby yesterday.
He is still looking everyday to find any sign of his ride and still hopes to find it one day or another.
Maybe one of us has seen something… Or heard something in the time that passed. In that case, do not hesitate to contact David. He would do the same thing in case that you, your partner, your comrade loses his ride.
Stolen @ 01/04/2007 between 12.17 and 12.30 in Zolder, Belgium.
