Isolde decker, Theo’s wife mailed me the real bad news that her husband and notorious VW genius Theo Decker left us.
I had the chance to meet Theo several times and talked with him about his heydays in Volkswagen land… he invented a lot of high performance tricks and produced many parts… several parts You still find regularly on german swap meets today. he was perhaps a German equivalent of Lyle Cherry or Gene Berg… his company name was TDE…
I post an old picture of Theo here as we will always remember him as somebody that did a LOT for our community!
