My buddy Ivan from the Italian BBT distributor Mago Maggiolino shop mailed me these pictures out of the old box.

Somewhere 22 years ago we did an exhibit to together, on a real fancy fair in Torino Italy… geez where’s all my hair gone…

After the fair we drove to a small VW show in Ventimiglia, very close to the French border and even hit the newspapers with this picture! Can you spot me???

Pretty proud we introduce you this week a very nice production for real quality Window sash for late convertibles… used to be available from our shop program before under specific shop W-…. ref. but now all a part n° on their own. Readily available from our stocks.

The metal profile of the window sash clamps the window (with a rubber in between), this gives the fact the metal “sash” frame is under tension for whole of its life. Metal that’s under tension wear out, as simple as that… call it “metal tiredness”… so after enough years of service the tension will fate from your window sash, mainly because of corrosion at the ends (that’s where it starts mainly) Your window will not go down nicely anymore, will hook and turn… time to change the window sash… and now readily availble at your nearest BBT dealer!
