HO 2017 is over, we have to wait another 4 years on next edition, but one thing is for sure, this was the best edition ever!

Too many splits and ovals to breath, the specials made You speechless and the Hebmullers…well… just took your breath away!
Too many cool cars to show, but I selected some of my favourites!
Starting with the split line up….

and the Hebmuller line up… 5 Hebmullers on a local show isn’t that bad in my eyes…

probably my favorite car of the show… this split has more patina then you can eat! all and everything was so original! I just love it, maybe would wash it, but why?????…:)
BBT showed off their colors with pride!

Price giving and awards…. BBT sponsored the trophies….
And we saw also this little Belgian pride in Holland… Flandria motorcycles was my passion before VW took over…:)
so before You all ask…. this is what we brought out to the show yesterday… Yanto’s 49 Heb, the unrestored 1952 black convertible and the maiden trip for our 1949 L70 Medium brown split sedan and last but not least BBT’s infamous laddertruck!
We like to thank the organisation and especially Nico and his team for this immaculate organisation and the fun day they gave us!!

Bright spring weather, a lot of happy people and incredible cool cars, we can say that Fast FFFred did a real cool job with his team to make yesterday a unforgettable day for many Western european VW people.
Some impressions to share with all of You! ….
We started right in the middle of the Airmighty cruize down from Holland….
Off course BBT’s friend of da Houze David was out and brought his single cab, watch that incredible license plate!
Mike’s barn-door, good to see on the road since many years!
Some guys take vanagons real serious!
Russell Ritchie came all the way down from Aberdeen Scotland to show his latest creation an exact copy from Bill Schwimmers squareback from the eighties…. this is what we call Old Skool, exactly the type of cars we kicked on when we started our VW hobby!
Loads of visitors, plenty of people…. a nice day for a stroll along a load (about 850) of very cool VW’s!
Since Freddy Files first edition we choose every year a Bob’s personal choice award… this year well deserved by Mike for his incredible Barndoor… good work Mike, … Master fred himself in the back ground out of the party DJ bus from the Kweenonie team, Miss Freddy files Evi handed out the awards.
Thanks again to Freddy and his team to give Belgian’s VW community another incredible show!
