Wow, what a headlines in the news this week… impeachment procedure started against Trump, the Supreme Court set Boris Johnson back with his feet on the ground and the latest climate reports told us the sea level will rise with one meter and 80% of the glaciers will disappear in Europe, that all by the end of the century… we wonder which will come first of these three items!
Besides all this tumultuous news we also bring you our news, what’s maybe not as spectacular but one day you might need one of those cool new products……..
We got finally a correct and very high quality engine lid lock that will fit your Beetle and Bus for the 1966 model year. These high quality engine lid locks come in 2 pieces, exactly like original.
This engine lid lock comes with two keys in correct T profile. The gasket between the lock and the engine lid can be easily obtained under BBT ref 0723-1

Next we like to introduce our electronic 6 volt turn signal relay.
This is in fact the electronic equivalent of our mechanical 6 volt blinker relay BBT ref 0685-5
Total hook up is no less as an impressive 110 watt!
Big advantage with an electronic blinker relay is that it gets your blinkers going also at idle, a big problem many times with 6 volt cars.
Simply the best invention for 6 volt cars since they launched 6 volt cars…:)

In the late forties and early fifties the Philips head screws hardly existed. So all split window beetle and early barndoors have been assembled with spearhead screws.
To have everything correct we bring you now the correct spearhead screw on M5 x 12mm to mount a lot of hardware on your split window beetle. This is the exact screw that holds your taillight housing to the bulb holders (4 screws per car) the doorlatches (2 screws per latch) also for Barndoor, doorlocks and doorlock catches and so many more.
These screws are simply essential if you want to restore your split window beetle or barndoor the right way!
