KLM flew me nicely over in one of their brand new Boeing 787 Dreamliners… pretty quiet and very relaxing…. and fast… well.. faster as this Airbus A380 from Lufthansa we move past about half way… not many times you pass by this close other airplanes in the sky!
and yes we came closer… almost could count the windows….:) an A380 is a real “dubbeldekker” a complete 2 floors plane
I was lucky again to have a nice and open sky entering the Bay area… very clearly visible why they call it like that…. can You see San Francisco already? I can’t but i know where it is….
a little closer and we see San Francisco… a very nice view on the Golden Gate bridge, San Francisco downtown and the recently renewed very impressive Bay Bridge leading to Oakland… wowh all in one shot!

This protection cap for your mirror arm is a very good example for that… yes this was original in 1961 as far as i know, and i understand even less why they only used it for one year…
The modern purist would thing this is way better for airflow, and he’s right! But its especially esthetically its the most important today, it’s a little different and its especially cool looking! A small neat detail to your beloved one.
