25 september 2012 - Inside BBT

Today, I just wanted to share some “come and go” pictures we found back on a older memory card and some more recent stuff as well..

2 weeks ago Vincent took delivery of his 53 oval

wowh, that’s style, coming in your Benz convertible to check out a beetle you’re daughter wants to buy… thanks for trusting BBT Tony, it was a real pleasure!

long term customer, and extreme trike aficionado paid us another visit… this time I was fast enough to catch the trike in “pixels”…

Maurice and Gert came by yesterday to pick up one of the buses they bought recently from us, always fun to meet them and see them go home with nice stuff on their truck… seems they have to come back to load more, too many goodies at BBT’s candy shop!

The 1946 was wrapped, mumified and loaded for open transport to Sofia Bulgaria….

looks really like an insect don’t You think?

Pascal bought a bus from me! Yiihaa! and took his new baby home… this bus is more solid like from new, even he’s getting older his taste and nose for “the good stuff”  is never changing!

from the old box… Ivo took delivery from our 1956 Convertible project! by now the car will be half way restored more then likely…

and another one from the month of July, Pascal from Serial Kombi fame took delivery close to his house in the Burgundy area of France (yes there IS worse places to live on planet earth believe me!) from the infamous BBT cherry picker… it will be missed, but the knowledge we have it went to a good home will soften smart and pain…

 I loved this picture…..

So many people do trust us to buy there classic VW…do You? ever visited the BBT Candy Shop? If you’re after a serious VW I’m sure I can help You! Thousands of references…worldwide!

you’re after something special VW? or want a straight advice? drop me a line…. Bob@bt4vw.com

Just keep them rolling!

24 september 2012 - Meetings

Yesterday the Vintage Waasland Vw afficiando’s organised there annual meet and greet VW show downtown St Niklaas city, very cool and for sure right in an area of big aircooled VW movement…

The shadow of the beautiful city hall tower called us very welcome!

BBT crew showed up in force! From left to right that’s our 1959 beloved SO23 Westfalia with 1969 color matched Westfalia Passau trailer, the everywhere we go 1965 BBT Back up truck crew cab, Pascal’s 1960 lowered camper with bounce bus trailer, 1949 pre export, 1952 unrestored convertible, Arlette’s 54 ragtop, and Linda’s 1960 immaculate convertible….

but also other lovely cars showed up, like this cool Type 34

and the typical “all VW shows must have one” mandatory Herbie replica, we like this one…. well done….

BBT Hans and lovely girlfriend Leentje having a wonderful time…

 Hippies? where?

despite the bad weather, still many VW’s showed up…

automatic with a Borg Warner transmission, they don’t come any better….

BBT Arlette and Werner sampling local burgers….

Rene Reel is still alive and kicking’! Rene is one of the very well known VW veterans in Belgium and this show was in his home town, time to bring the immaculate restored Ghia vert out he must have thought! Congrats Rene, nice car!

 Hot Bonito replica!

Photographer  Paul Peeters had withstand forecast and showed up in one of Belgiums most beauty Type 34’s…  Paul’s work You can always follow on his pretty impressive website http://www.ppress.be one of our favourites!

welcome to Belgium, country of chocolate, beer, splits and ovals…

now this is what I call the “right stance”

Belgian toy, a lot of fun for the owner for sure!

line up was cool, cold, wet and impressive…

Markee was loaded because of the weather…

and the BBT crew did there best….

Maybe I had enough beers? Time to go home….

the way back, just a cool picture…

Whatever the weather, we had a great day out… some times local VW shows, give more fun like big international events, thats for sure!
