Good news for work a like people, BBT is currently on the lookout for an orderpicker/packer & administration co-worker.
You ’re in parts dept or office dept, rarely see cars, it’s not as romantic as you may think off, but it’s in a surrounding you like (otherwise you would not be on this BBT Blog…)
Speaking of good Flemish language is absolutely necessary because communication in a decent way with your new colleague’s is important…

My friend Eric from California send through some pictures from his DKW schnellaster panel van…
After almost 2 years he finished this restoration, and today he will take it for the first outing, the maiden trip…. just look at pictures, and say wawh as many times as You wish, it might be a relief to free your emotions….
Before…. Eric bought this panel out of a tip I gave him… somewhere in California, his home state….
And after…. this is a work of art rather then a restoration….
As a reference the Honda Element is for scale reference and evidence of design plagiarism in the eyes of eric… the Honda is also for sale, I think Eric like to keep on the DKW for a while, but a lot of other projects might force him to sell eventually….
According to Eric the engine is built with an NOS crank, pistons, rods and modern sealed bearings.Very difficult to locate parts. oh yes, we can imagine!
did You check the detail into this work of art???? Well let me tell You Eric did this restoration for the most part in his drive way! We can see clearly restoration has nothing to see with equipment, but only with the will and caracter to bring things to a good end!
Eric this is another highlight of your restoration career, Congratulations, I think it’s an other outstanding finish! And an example for all old car afficiando’s how to do a restoration in 2013….. Thank You for being our friend, thank You for sharing your arts…
BBT Spain took on the task to make the extreme cool split ragtop…. BBT bloggers saw me delivering the car in November in Spain, and bringing the SP2 home…
Finally some time left in Spain so Steve started the labour to this cool car…. and splits have to be splits, so the oval window was cut out and modified back to split… nice job Steve, Congratulations….
