Back from the paint shop and untouched since it needs complete re-assembling… it looks like a space ship still from the front…:)

and even interior is all out, paint job was in and out!

on the other side of the workshop we started detailling the magic original mint condition 1955 stratos silver ragtop, we had to take of one fender to take out some old parking dents, not an easy task on an all original car!

Meanwhile we decided to keep the period covers on the seats, as we like too much, too much fifty’s, we can’t get enough of this! But we will probably never know how the nice interior looks under it! well maybe the next owner/caretaker will decide to remove…

The Bleu and white 65 samba was finished, but @ testing seems the tranny gavesome troubles, so back in the shop and tranny out and away for rebuild…

Several parts came back in stock, during last week, where under cilinderheads and engine cases. so available back from our stock are ref.1720 and 1721 cilinder heads. 1720 is bare, 1721 complete with valves and springs etc.

Just by now we received the pictures from our new tooling from the Westy tents roof mounts. BBT ref 6520. For such a little piece the tooling is quite big and heavy… we get a slot in next production run of March when all goes well, so we hope to get the new top mounts here by end of April or somewhere during the month of May… we working hard so you can all enjoy your westy tents for the next season.
