Today we played 2 plus 1….

Knowing people and visiting them from time to time is so important… I never knew Danny still had two Early bays tucked away for the typical “I’ll fix them one day” way of thinking… until Danny had a heart attack last september and will downsize his immense collection to get less stress.. well I will find good home for these two Early Bay windows, both are from 1968…

We just received a nice load of our ever Modular wheels, ready for delivery now!

As everybody that needs to know will know by now my friend Randy Pollock from the infamous  VW Junkyard in Pismo Beach California passed away sadly a couple of weeks ago… Volkswagen hunting in  California will never be the same…:(

As a tribute to my hero and personal friend Randy I was allowed by his son Paige to  buy some of Randy’s personal car as a tribute and spread Randy’s true blood VW spirit all over the world…

One car in particular was always on my “wish list” as a keeper… 1958 vintage custom top chop beetle…

Made somewhere in the hey-days of Californian VW movement and stranded on a junkyard ever since… Randy rescued and let survive, where I take over now from him…

It’s so nicely aged the paint has become like an oil painting, like Michel Angelo or Van Eyck… who can resist mother natures work??? This is true vintage beauty!

Hey Randy it was nice to know You and consider You as my friend, thanks for everything buddy and ride the VW’s of heaven over there! I will take care for some of Your personal favourites and will spread them out  all over the globe so You will be never forgotten…
