Brass parts start life in a foundry with next door a crazy BIG extruder. When we say BIG we mean BIG, we can state the brass extruder is the size of a house!
From there the brass is cut to rough dimension to be heated again to STAMP in a rough form. These forms will be CNC machined to perfection and to all standards of modern car manufacturers.
As this company works for all Car manufacturers they have a very strict picture policy.
So we hope you can enjoy these evolution pictures to understand this BBT product line.
We sell synchronizer rings for Beetle and Bus, you can find HERE
Hans, well known from running the BBT counter for over 10 years, started Speedshack when he left BBT.
Speedshack builds VW engines so Hans and BBT is an ongoing story.
Out of his research Hans gives us a lot of feedback.
Today he shares with us how easy you can obtain HP and torque with Auto Linea heads.
Hans said he took stock Auto Linea heads, gave the valve and seats a 3 angle cutting job. He left the ports untouched, modified the compression chambers slightly where he made them same diameter as the cylinder bore diameter and “unshroud” the valves.
These heads he combined with 90.05mm bore cylinders, stock crank and rods with a healthy 8.4/1 compression ratio, for a long engine life.
He used an Engle W100 cam with stock rockers and 2 x Weber 36mm IDF carbs set up with 30mm venturi on just a cheap EMPI hotdog exhaust.
The dyno results are pretty amazing as you can see from the screen above…
A whopping 97.8DinHp over a 145DinNm of torque.
This will be a fun engine to drive for sure!

You can park a car in many different ways…:)
But you have to learn at young age….
or at little less young age you can park your bus in Amsterdam
or later on you take your family and park before the “Vleeshuis” in downtown Antwerp.
You only hope that babies in your collection don’t get hungry at the same time…:)
because if you don’t feed them well this is what happens…
But at certain age collecting starts serious, You park them on age…. Early split, late split and oval…
Also in the early days they parked their cars well!
HMMMMM not always….
But …. Police is watching you, all nicely lined up…:)
happy sunday… relax… and park well…:)
