12 november 2018 - Inside BBT

The new cargo door samples (version 2.0) arrived last week and we test fitted in nothing less as our original samba deluxe… Ex BBT top of the bill panelbeater “Metalmaster Seppe” came over for the testfit as nobody can tell more about test panels as he does….

We found some very small remarks what can be easily solved, so time tos tart thinking about production…

11 november 2018 - Fun

The “Grooten Oorlog” (Big War) ended exactly 100 years ago November 11 at 11.00 o’clock in a railway wagon from Belgian company WagonLits that was driven to Compiegne, just south of the Belgian border in France

Time for some serenity, and to meditate why so many of our families suffered and so many soldiers got killed.

Was it worthless? Maybe, but it helps to realise how good we have it today and should not complain.

No picture today out of respect, but a really nice poem from ex officer of that war, John McCrae, a Canadian who offered is life for all we have now…

In Flanders fields….

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
      In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
      In Flanders fields.

My God be with you today….

Respect!
