Today we proudly launch two new applications.
Developed with greatest precision.
Cast iron is assessed for 27 different chemical elements during the melting and casting process.
NOS stub axles modelled for our two-meter-long brand-new spline tool.
Extreme quality control in every step of the process.
BBT brake drums can easily be considered as Original Equipment.

So we had simply to make it ourselves, exactly what we did.
We made our own late model Bay window bus brake booster.
We guided the well willing factory through the project making exactly what we needed.
Designed with the correct right-angle 14mm hose connection at the front,
and an angled vacuum connection at the rear.

25 & 30HP engines (that is 36 for our US friends) have a slightly different oil slinger on their crankshaft than later engines.
Nowhere available and running out of NOS we tooled up and made the correct oil slinger available for the early engines.

In addition to the standard black nitrile seals (BBT 2110 & 2110-100), we now have them in red.

The 25/30hp and 1200 engines have 20mm clips instead of 22mm.
We've had the 22mm for a long time (BBT 1603-250), but because they sometimes get lost during an engine rebuild, we now have the 20mm.

When VW introduced the 091-transmission on the VW BUS another mount was designed to hold the nose to the chassis.
The transmission being slightly longer, the "forks" on the 002-transmission nose mount were too long.
To make it all a perfect fit VW made the forks for the 091-transmission nose mount a little shorter.
This is not documented, no place.
We had to research a couple of dozen! original buses to figure it out.
But happy to share with all of you now.
Even more happy we can introduce the latest part of this family today.
The BBT 091 transmission nose mount, with correct length forks, is now available.
