Jos shared this cool picture from the local grocery shop at the “Zwaantjes”.

For the locals, “Zwaantjes” is where the VII Olmpiadelaan becomes the Antwerpsesteenweg and where Antwerp becomes Hoboken, or about…:) .

A area very familiar area where you could spot my granddad regulary driving his 1950 barndoor for deliveries. My grand parents bakery being “just around the corner”.

This is a real cool shot and the little panel van looked like pretty new to me! In 1957 it was…

Keep on dreamin’, Happy Sunday…

4 december 2020 - NEW

The vaccine craze is running crazy like a full blood horse on steroids. Financial markets react like if the world turned already back like before Covid 19 spread around the world, reality is different, unfortunately as we can experience every day.

Is there light on the end of the tunnel? Probably, but there’s much more going on….

US dollar is losing ground, big time. The Brexit might show a Pound Sterling worth less than a Euro and maybe more. Container shipping becomes a new top sport. You don’t know if there’s equipment available, if you finally get container(s) you’re facing all vessels are overbooked. Lately shipping is more like a Russian roulette….:)

One Far East manufacturer told us he has orders lined up for over thirty 40ft containers during the month of December, till now he got only 5 confirmed from the shipping line(s).

Nothing to see with money, Far East export containers went up by 250% (yes that’s two hunderd and fifty percent) and are still on the rise….

Shipping problems might not be cured before mid-February. But as always we’re fighting with all power we have, but continuously face the same problem….

This, together with Covid 19 restrictions in some our producing countries and over demand on certain of our parts  turn our infill numbers red. Sorry for that. We’re on top of it and working hard last couple of months on solutions, day and night to get things solved. We have several full loads we did find shipping solutions for finally coming in, so our infill will become better during the month of December, that’s a promise!

Thank God we have our BBT news every Friday, something  that has nothing to see with Covid or Shipping lines.
