We had a wonderful drive up to the show of Zelem in the eastern part of our tinny country, but some detours didn’t meet the expectations of “paved road” anymore….:)
But weather was marvelous and David was in “Happy Mood” as always so all was ok….:)

very nice Porsche Standard tractor, … nice guy too… had a little chat about diesel pumps…

Zelem is a cool all around show… for everybody! and with good and plenty beer……don’t miss out next year!

Yesterday was the 33rd edition of the 1st of May VW show in Hannover Germany… I made my 26th appearance…
From all shows ever visit I think this is the largest show I have ever seen… its…endless… and way too much for one day!

DFL club line up is always impressive, they really get it where they intended it to be!

Its hard not to find ANY variation or conversion from a VW ever made on this show…

Was this my favorite of the show? Anyway it was awesome and sat exactly like I want a car to sit… the kid is not out of me yet!…:)
Let me translate “Stammtisch” to you like… the table from the clubwhere the innercircle sits…and…where mainly the beer is never to far away…:)

Weather was so nice… seemed the whole Germany was out for a good time!

Time to go home now… sad, too much, too many too overwhelming…. we just loved it… yours truly is “soaked” and boiled in too many VW’s now, so I can keep my VW blood running through my veins for a while…:)
Next year… 1st May… make sure you’re there… it’s the best!

Madera Spring Fling is a fast growing show in “Central” California, hold at the Madeira show grounds in Madera California…
350 cars and a huge swap meet, sorry, no racing…
We had a hell of a day! I’m glad to share some highlights of the show with all of you!
