23 september 2022 - NEW

As said before, a war in 2022 can’t be won anymore,  it will leave only losers.
Our thoughts go out in the first place  to the human tragedies.

With last power talks from Russian president Poetin this week, nobody knows where this war will go to.
Sky high energy prices (times six in certain circumstances) inflation, awful exchange rates and a lot of more threats to test our economy, times are not exactly “favorable”.

This doesn’t withheld us to continue and develop parts for our Classic Volkswagens.
Invest, create & fabricate to help our VW world and bring our little piece of help to the world economy.

Let us introduce some very interesting new products this week to make your VW life hopefully an easier one…
Welcome to our weekly Friday BBT News!

After two years development we’re happy we can present a correct ignition lock for your 54-57 oval window beetle.
Ignition locks will eventually pass out or start flashing at certain age or after too much use.

Days are over you had to adjust a later model, drill extra holes or fabricate your own bracket.
We bring you a 100% correct replacement ignition lock with screwed terminals as original.

The correct SG profile key stands on 12.00 o’clock in driving position, exactly as original.
Something never seen on any other reproduction ignition lock before.

Our ignition locks come in their own custom built box.

We had a special production run for the 4.5 x 15 Fumagalli wheel.
Fumagalli is an old style steel wheel from Brazil designed and built initially by the wheel company “Fumagalli”.

The factory is not very interested in further production, with steel prices going through the roof and energy cost rockin’ this might be the last production.
If you ever want them it might be the right time to buy them.
Hence we cannot guarantee they will ever come back, if they do it will be a lot more expensive.

Our new production felt channel clips has been made by the original OE German manufacturer.
Exactly like they produced for Volkswagen stamped on the original tooling.

With the lip high enough to slide easily into the hole in your door.
While the little nasty hooky clamps inside guarantee to hold your felt channel in place for many years to come.

Old dealership pictures always talk to you, service bay or showroom or outside parking lot, even the period used car dealer lots looks like nostalgic to us, right?

Admiring the sleek lines of a low light Karmann Ghia, Window shopping made it possible back in the day!

A regular dealer ship like there was thousands in the late sixties and early seventies.

From Norway this is Grendahl AutoAS in Trondheim circa 1953. Would that be a Zwitter convertible???

You have to love this picture, they do not come more stereotype!

Waeslandia was not a dealer, but had cool line up anyway!

Can we consider junk yards dealers as well? Can you imagine to find a barndoor next to an abonded split window beetle?

Enjoy your Sunday and keep dreaming!
